Is it safe to drive with a cracked windshield?

It is not recommended to drive with a cracked windshield as it can compromise the structural integrity of the glass and increase the risk of injury in an accident. It is best to have your windshield repaired or replaced as soon as possible.

We use high-quality OEM (original equipment manufacturer) auto glass for all of our repairs and replacements. This ensures that the glass meets or exceeds the safety standards set by the manufacturer of your vehicle.

A windshield repair typically takes about 30 minutes to complete, depending on the size and location of the damage. We use advanced techniques and materials to ensure a strong and durable repair.

GPF takes 48-72 hours to fully cure and bond to glass. It is normal to see some optical distortion while the film cures.

Do not wash the car for the first 48-72 hours and minimize the use of windshield wipers until the film has cured.

Clean your windshield regularly using mild soap and water and a soft cloth to remove tree sap, bird droppings, tar, oils and bugs. Do not use cleaning solutions containing petroleum distillates or silicone oils.

Never use abrasive cleaners or cloths to clean GPF. Avoid the use of high-pressure sprayers on the windshield and other windows where GPF has been applied. Do not use sharp objects such as ice scrapers or blades to clean your windshield as doing so could damage the Glass Protection film.
